Magnetic contacts

A magnetic contact is a door and window sensor as an automatic alarm for monitoring doors, windows or other movable parts, that consists of an internal reed sensor and separate magnet. The sensor is usually installed on the door or window frame, and the magnet is installed on the moving portion of the door or window. When the door or window is opened, the magnet will separate from the sensor, the internal reed switch will activate, then send an alert to the alarm system to let it know that the door or windows has been opened.
